I recently needed a dress for a summer event that I could still nurse in easily. After looking through half a decade of Burda Style/ Burda World of Fashion sewing magazines, stacks of Japanese sewing magazines, Indie sewing books, and drawers of Big 4 patterns (Vogue, Butterick, McCall's, Simplicity)I found this book at the bottom of the heap. How had I ignored it for so long?! The styles are super easy and creative. I made the Sunday dress from some creamy lace fabric in my stash that I purchased from Brazil and it is really stunning. The fit is totally easy to adjust by tying the belt and the shoulder ties in different places. I plan to make this again, and will also make the skirts and jackets. I love patterns that do not require zippers or buttons!I agree with the other reviewers that this book is a stretch if you do not know how to sew. Without step by step illustrations useful even for non-English speakers, the author missed out on getting a huge international market, like the Sew U/Built by Wendy Series. But, for me, the patterns look like they will fit without any tweaking and work well with lots of different kinds of fabrics.
