I was looking for a jacket to wear in the fall and winter up here in the Pacific Northwest. It needed to be at the minimum water resistant. From the other reviews I thought I would have to wear a hoodie under it to keep warm in the winter. Nope. This jacket kept me warm all winter! We had two major storm this past winter with over 18" in a 24 hour period and a rain/snow/ice storm that shut down the area for 3-4 days.Great jacket, great fit, will buy another color if it's still available this come fall.Great coat2 things needs improvement on this jacket :* The outer fabric has a rough hard surface and it makes a loud rubbing sound while wearing and walking with it.* The zippers are cheap and fragile. It is not going to last.Other than that this jacket is ok.I should have ordered a larger size. The waist is too tight.Really like this coat. I bought the orange with reflective strips. I use it for my morning/evening walks. I want to be seen. Now I'm known as the "orange walker". That means the coat works. Considering purchasing another for every day wear.I absolutely love these jackets. Good price, wear and wash up very good. Have a good selection of sizes and colors. Would highly recommend.After reading the reviews I was concerned about the fit, but they offered free returns. Fast shipping.I'm very satisfied with this jacket. I've always worn a medium, 38-40 chest size. I was worried about it being too large but it fit perfect. Nice color (maroon), warm in cooler temperatures, and nice water repelling properties. (Haven't wore it in a heavy rain). The delivery was sooner than stated. I would buy this jacket again but I'm sure I'll be wearing this one for quite sometime
